One face to the customer is always a good idea and a clear understanding of license requirements is also a pretty good thing. This entry on the Oracle Business Intelligence Blog just shows how difficult it can be to get a clear understanding of licensing models. I think it proves how difficult it can be when large companies like Oracle continually buy up their competitors and try and integrate their products.
